I decided to join the Help Desk because of my interests in cybersecurity, and the ability to learn and grow myself and in return give back to people in need. I love to help people and the Help Desk is a good opportunity for that. Some of my other interests are in the finance and investment sector. Some of my career interests are in real estate development and independent contracting. I realize the importance of, the basic understanding of technology. Technology plays a large role in our lives everyday. So we should aspire to learn more about it, even if your career is not directly in a technology field. When I’m not in a traditional learning environment, I still enjoy learning on my own terms. In particular cybersecurity interests me a lot because of the important role it plays, and how in most people’s technological lives they much rather accommodate ease of use rather than being safe. This interests me, and makes myself want to learn even more about protecting “personal identifiable information” (PII). I love to try and solve problems. I am looking forward to contributing to the Help Desk, solving problems, and the opportunity for having fun with some technology!
